HELP Damnit !

man i have a virus/spyware in my computer that has messsed up my internet download,upload,ping.... I format my pc and it works fine for a day ,then it goes back to shitty performance , it's not the connection ! i got ptcl + wc both work bad after 1 day after the formatting ! . I tried over 5 Anti virus softwares and countless spyware softwares still no luck in finding and removing it . well mcafee found it but it would'nt kill the basterd :@ . NEED HELP PLZ ! tell me a good AV+spyware soft. that will get rid of this prob. dastee !!! THANX

first of all yaar if u want to be a part of this u have 2 stop asking for help like that ...secondly with this attitude u wont be able to survive much longer in this board thnx to our supportive MODS and ADMINS .

solution: try kaspersky antivirus ..its the best antivirus and probably detects every virus that exists...try it and tell

its weird that u get same problem even after fresh installation. That might be your installation cds which are infected, or some other media you are using. If you making a fresh installation be sure that you make ur hdd format, and first thing is to install av after installation.

sorry about that man , it's just that this stupid problem has been bothering me for past 3 weeks now

nah man installation cd's fine ...
i did a full scale format ! deleted ALL partitions and went through drive scrubber process , still after 1 or 2 days it's bound to mess up .
i scanned my ipod thoroughly because that's the only portable device i hook up to my pc , nothing detected on it . right now i'm trying out bitdefender , kaspersky .... let's hope they fix it

okay first of all try kaspersky, its detection/removal is better than all others - if it doesnt work then read on..

firstly what's the name of the virus? (you probably dont kno but you said mcafee detected it so maybe you do know)

two, how do you know it's a virus, as in what are the apparent signs, other than crappy performance and slow internet

three, (do this especially if you dont know the name) open your task manager, go to the 'processes' tab, make sure all of it is viewable, take a screenshot and post
