Laptop problem
I have an Acer Aspire 5720z with the following specs:
IntelŪ PentiumŪ Dual Core T2310 1460MHz
512mb of Ram
80 Gb HDD
When playing audio or video, every couple of minutes the audio starts to distort and after about 20 seconds, it returns to normal. In the case of video, it slows down the framerate per second and then after 20 secs or so, it resumes to normal speed. This problem isnt just with the audio and video anymore, it is effecting the whole system. While using the system for internet browsing, it slows down all of a sudden. Touchpad starts lagging and at times becomes unresponsive. Im using windows xp btw. I have tried re installing the drivers, re installing windows, and even switching to vista just to see if i can somehow fix this problem, but all in vain, the problem remains. and yes, I have been facing this problem since the very first day I got this laptop. It wasnt noticable in the beggining, but over the months it has grown alot. I got this laptop as a gift so I didnt really had to option of returning it and claiming the warrenty and what not.
Any bright ideas?
