Looking To Replace 2.80E Processor With Core 2 Duo

I've got quite an old system running a 2.80E Processor (which is seriously very loud for a system) Intel D865GBF board & 512MB RAM.

Looking to spend as less as possible to get a decent Core 2 Duo Setup. Need advice from you people

Visited GALAXY's site and found something to go for as follows:

Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53Ghz (3MB Cache - 1066MHz FSB) - Rs.9600

No idea about which board to get (but i prefer a low priced intel board) which should have an option if i get a relatively good VGA to play games. If there are good options in ASUS, i can consider that as well.

Looking to get 2GB of DDR-II Ram...
Relatively low priced good VGA (how is the 9600GT?) just an option on the side...

Need your advice now

inter are expensive, either get the xfx nvidia 630i for 5500 or an asus P5KP for around 4350. Both have pci-e slots, while the nvidia's built in gfx card is decent enough for very basic games. also both the 9600gt and 9600gso are brilliant cards on a budget. While i think they were running a offer for an 8600gt for 4k or something and at that price the 8600gt is a steal.

Get E7400 and don't go for XFX 630i board isn't that good. Go for good board. In GPU go for ATI 4670 IceQ Edition.

Kingston 2GB DDR-II 800Mhz RAM
Western Digital 320GB SATA-II (16MB Cache Hard Drive)

Intel 946 GZ is for 4350/=. It can take all P IV as well as Core 2 Duo processors. It is SATA. So you will have to buy new SATA Hard drive as well as SATA CD/DVD Media.
