So, I installed Windows 7, its out on torrent sites, I installed it and MS has kicked ass of all the OSs out there. Performance is phenomenal. All the problems in vista have been solved, like the delay in displaying contents when u open winodws explorer is gone and the power of ur graphics card has now truely been unlocked giving the OS a very snappy performance.
There is no lag while scrolling in a browser or any other App with aero theme enabled, Flip 3D is really quick and thus more usefull. Superbar just simply Rocks with all it glory, the colors the animations....I cud just go on with this all day.
Give it a try and share ur thoughts.

This simple winrar SFX first backups the files on your desktop to a folder called “Blue Badge BackUp” and then simply runs the “Blue Badge” application.
1.) Simply download this file to your desktop:

NOTE: This is x86 32bit build only.
2.) Run above file from the desktop.
3.) Click “Yes” on the UAC prompt.
4.) You will see a cmd window flash, that simply backups the files to your desktop under the “Blue Badge BackUp” folder which was just created. So keep this folder just in case.
5.) You should see the “Blue Badge” application now. So click on “I understand the risks, continue.”
6.) Click “ok” on the patching complete screen. Reboot! Your done! Simple um? he-he
NOTE: Feel free to now delete BlueBadgeBackUp.exe, BlueBadge.exe, and BlueBadgeBackUp.cmd from your desktop as they are no longer needed.
so far i have heard good things bout this Os myself. apparently windows 7 kernel was written from scratch as Vista was sort of an upgrade from XP. remember guys this is a pre beta or alpha version you can say. and its already shaping up to be awesome. Microsoft have dedicated an entire team just working on the boot timing which they claim would be under 7 secs so i hear. but i will wait for the beta version at least which is due to hit the net early 2009.
also can you tell me whats the compatibility situation, like driver support and how are games coping. running into any problems??
Well its pretty stable, since I installed it yesterday i cant really say much about stability...but so far so gud. Boot timing is not 7 secs since it depends on the hardware...but its noticibly faster than vista...i havent played any games but with the current driver it gave me a gaming score of 3.3 with 7300GS while in vista it does not cross 3.0 with the latest drivers, so thats that about gaming performance with the first pre beta graphics driver which offcourse is gonna increase in time to come.
So its gud.
As for drivers, i installed my modem driver the one i had for XP and Vista while the hp printer driver also installed without a hitch from the installation disk.
ye im downloading it rite now
wanna knw if ill b able to play fallout iii far cry 2 and dead space
as they are installed in my vista?
and are there drivers issue
like nvdia vista driver would be compatible with it?

they most probably will be compatible, I have Nvidia 7300GS and its driver was installed by default and i just upgraded the driver through windows update. I dont whink vista driver wud install in windows 7 coz thats just impossible, try windows update for these drivers if its not in windows pre configured folder....so u shouldnt have a problem...but then again, its not even beta, its pre-beta so theres no saying wat cud happen...i wud not recommend upgrading vista to windows 7, so install it on a different partition but its ur choice.
