Black Mesa : Source
the new trailer is out today
the game will be coming out in 2009

the original half life is getting a remake with the now all so powerful source engine..i definitely love the source engine after left 4 dead so i'll be waiting for this thing to show up next year

i cant understand .. is it a modification of HALFLIFE with OLD STORY? or a HALFLIFE renew project handled by a different team?

this is half life
the first one..being made using the source engine..the first wad engine..the original hl engine is being discarded and source is taking over..so they decided to make the original half life using the source engine

u take on as dr freeman (again)

I don't know about you guys but this mod has been in development for quite sometime. It was a third party who was trying to get Original Half Life ported to the Source engine, during the process they got carried away and actually employed other artists and voice actors to get it to a professional game level. It was supposed to be released early but since it was third party development so it took them quite sometime.

Now I am not sure if Valvle officially sponsored them or not or will it be making its way to consoles (or just PC like it was originally intended).
