PTCL DSL Student (How to Apply?)

Hello Everyone

Alot of people had been asking me about how to apply for the Student package of DSL.

Here it is .. There are two ways to apply.

1- HEC people must have visited your university and must have provided APPLICATION FORMS. You need to get those application forms, fill them and deposit them back to your university's registrar.


2- Apply Online at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]


After you apply online you will get a confirmation Application ID. You will see something like this:

Your Application has been Submitted Successfully!

Please save your following application Id for your reference.

Application ID: 107122200787692

Your information has been sent to the registrar of your university for verification.

Processing of application is subject to successful verification by the registrar.

Thank you for applying HEC Broadband Service.

Note down this Application ID and then contact the registrar of your university. Tell them your Application ID and they will approve your application. The Registrar can approve your application ONLINE (PTCL has given them access). As soon as the registrar approves it PTCL will automatically receive your application for connection. After that depending on your telephone line availability and, you will get the DSL connection within a week or so.

i applied in december but still have'nt got a call.I dint know that we had to personally go to the registrar.

i applied 2 weeks ago and a guy from ptcl came today and gave me the modem etc said will come tomorrow with the extended wire and will setup properly 2mbps connection student package for 3500rs 2mbps

i did this ..i mean today i had submitted the form
but any one tell me what type of package they provide me?
512kb with 6gb bandwidth in 839 or 512kb with unlimited in 839?
plz any one tell coz 1236 are so bussy to call

and whats the difference b/t adsl and dsl

YOU WILL GET THE SAME CONNECTION AS MENTIONED IN THEIR PACKAGES... THE DIFFERENCE IS ... YOU WILL GET 30% DISCOUNT FROM HEC ON THE PACKAGE... Rs.1200 wala package 30% discount par Rs.840 ka parta hai
