Well guys I am using PTCL 1mb dsl connection and from the past couple of days I am facing quite low download speeds in torrents. I checked utorrent and it seems that whatever port I use, its blocked. I dont use any firewall etc so obviously the ports must have been blocked by PTCL. Who else is facing this problem? and what is the solution? a little search on the internet reveals that if ports are blocked by the ISP then there is no solution except changing ISPs. is this true?
btw the torrents I am talking about are from private trackers with ratios ranging from 5-10 thus the problem isnt with number of seeders.

yeah thats wat im saying port forwarding .... see portforward.com, its the best and with ss to help u out, pick ur modem from the list and it will guide
here is the page all u ppl who need help in port forwarding: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
go into guide and then select ur specified modem and just follow the easy and with pics guide
btw first select random port from utorrent and then check if its open or not and when its open use that port in the guide
speeds im getting tested from speakeasy
Download Speed: 945 kbps (118.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 726 kbps (90.8 KB/sec transfer rate
also mani1 tell me in utorrent is ur icon green or red ? or a exclamation triangle... if it's green then its fine but red do the above given procedure also dlding from public does give slow speeds even tome dont know why but private trackers give full speed
