PTCL DSL Torrent help...

my friend's got ptcl dsl, 512k connection, shino modem etc ...but he can't get speeds above 17k on torrents ...using clients like utorrent. on the utorrent connection test, it showed that the port was blocked. now i don't know how to forward the port on his modem, and i cant actually go to his house to check it out; so can anyone here help out as to how we're supposed to forward the port for utorrent etc on ptcl dsl?

run your modem in bridge mode and be done with it.

lol dude thanks, but don't give me guides ..i know how to fwd the port, it was for a friend and the real problem was that his modem's configuration page wasn't opening nymore ...and i cant go to his house. nyways thanks for ur help, he reinstalled the windows and its opening now so he fwded it ...close the topic.
